Hemenway's Social Emotional Behavior (SEB) Coach
engaged in throughout the school day include:
- Assisting students with academic and social/emotional needs
- Social skills groups
- Individual, group, and crisis counseling
- School-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention Support - School Coach
- Social Emotional curriculum support and instruction
- Participation in Team meetings to help develop student supports
- School-based consultation with teachers and parents to provide helpful suggestions and support for student’s social, emotional needs
- Facilitate Community meetings for all students: these meetings include teaching SEL lessons on Character trait of the month, teaching students important aspects of the Code of Character, Conduct and Support and celebrating student successes each month.
