What is Project Dash?

Project Dash is a program run in collaboration between Greater Framingham Community Church (GFCC), the United Way, DoorDash, and the FPS Family Support Coordinators. This milestone of 10,000 grocery deliveries has been achieved over the past few years.

Project Dash is designed to support and uplift our community by providing essential food resources to 155 Framingham Public Schools families every two weeks throughout the school year, delivered in three sessions. This year, we have worked to accommodate more participants and ensure that as many families as possible benefit from this valuable resource. Together, we have committed to making a positive difference.

As part of our partnership with DoorDash, selected families receive regular grocery deliveries directly to their doorsteps. We remain committed to addressing food insecurity and strengthening the well-being of our students and their families through continued partnership and community support.

This is what the inside of the van looks like once we stop by United Way and Market Basket! After this we head to the Greater Framingham Community Church and prep the bags for distribution.

This year is the first year we have had students join us for every Project Dash date! Schools who have not participated in previous years are also joining for the first time this year. This has been an amazing opportunity to show students one of many opportunities to help the community and show them that they have the power to help!

Shoutout to King, Barbieri, Brophy, Potter Road, Harmony and Cameron!
